Our wedding weekend is an adults-only event. With limited venue space and the advanced notice, we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time so you can celebrate with us. Individuals invited will be addressed on your invitation.
Due to venue restrictions, we are unable to accommodate plus ones. All invited guests will be specifically named on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This just means we are asking all our guests to be fully present and that all phones be put away and on silent while during the ceremony. We've hired professional photographers and a videographer to capture some of the most important moments of our lives. We would hate to have a phone blocking the moment for them to capture! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos as you would like!
Yes, there will be a shuttle to pick up and drop off guests who booked at one of the two hotels with the room block ~20 minutes one-way the day of the wedding. 4:30 PM Departure from Hilton Garden Inn to Boone Hall 4:45 PM Departure from Hotel Indigo to Boone Hall Shuttles returning to hotels after Reception Uber/Lyft is also available in the Charleston area. Limited Discounted Rooms Available - if you are unable to get the room rate but still book at Hotel Indigo or Hilton Garden Inn, you will be able to utilize the shuttle to and from the venue on wedding day we ask that you please RSVP to the shuttle on your invitation. You will receive shuttle details at check in.
Yes! If you'd like to drive to the venue, guests may park in the main parking area near the Plantation House. You are welcome to leave your car and pick it up the next day during operating hours if you're unable to drive home. The Plantation opens at 12PM on Sundays. We want you to be safe and that is why we strongly encourage the shuttle or Uber/Lyft.
We recommend arriving at Boone Hall between 5:00 and 5:15 P.M. The shuttles leaving from the hotel block will accommodate this arrival time. If you are driving, please allow additional time to drive slowly through the avenue of oaks upon entry. The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30.
Yes! We have reserved a block of rooms at two different hotels. Please see our travel/accommodations tab for our online discount code or be sure to mention that you are with the Kluckowski-Sasser wedding if making reservations by phone. The wedding party will be staying at Hotel Indigo. VRBO and AIRBNBs are also available in the area.
The Charleston Airport is located only 20 minutes from the Mount Pleasant area and is easily accessed with a short Uber or Lyft ride.
