Things To Do

Collinsville's close proximity to St Louis is one of our favorite things about our town. There's a lot to do for fun, and we hope you'll truly take advantage of what Collinsville has to offer!

Uptown Collinsville

Main Street, Collinsville, IL

Uptown Collinsville has some great bars and restaurants to check out. We've listed our favorites below. Feel free to explore and let us know what your favorites are!!! Hurricanes Bar & Grill, 222 West Main Street - The bar that started it all! This is where we met, and it's always a good time. Make sure you tell them that Laney & Paul sent ya! Fridays South, 106 E Main Street - Another favorite spot of ours! Paul worked here for years and we love their back patio on warm afternoons! Old Herald Brewery & Distillery, 115 East Clay Street - Great local spot with delicious craft brews and incredible craft cocktails!

Ballpark Village

601 Clark Avenue, St. Louis, MO 63102
, (314) 797-7530

If you're sticking around town, we highly recommend taking in Ballpark Village during a Cardinals baseball game! The Cubs are in town the weekend of our wedding, and that is one of the most fun atmospheres in baseball.

Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site

Collinsville, IL
, (618) 346-5160

The remains of the most sophisticated prehistoric native civilization north of Mexico are preserved at Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site. Within the 2,200-acre tract, located a few miles west of Collinsville, Illinois, lie the archaeological remnants of the central section of the ancient settlement that is today known as Cahokia. There is a cool museum to go through, or you can climb the mounds!

Worlds Largest Catsup Bottle

305 Railroad Avenue, Collinsville, IL 62234
, (618) 741-9014

Yes really...the world's largest catsup bottle! There's not a lot to do here, but it does make for a cool picture!

Local Beer Scene

There are a ton of great local micro breweries around here, plus St Louis is the home of Anheuser Busch. We highly recommend taking in a few of these great spots if you have the chance. Anheuser Busch St Louis Brewery - https://www.budweisertours.com/ Schlafly Tap Room or Schlafly Bottled Works - http://www.schlafly.com 4204 Main Street Brewing - http://www.mainstreetbrewingco.com Urban Chestnut - http://www.urbanchestnut.com Old Bakery Beer Company - http://www.oldbakerybeer.com/ Or find your own new favorite and tell us all about it!!!
