Online dating works

In April of '21 Lane and Kevin connected on the dating app "Bumble", which was not exactly how either one of them thought they would begin their marriage story. Both of them, living in Portland, OR (Lane in her childhood bedroom and Kevin escaping the terrors of a midwestern start-up) agreed to pencil each other in for a "summer fling". A bike ride up to Mt. tabor on a warm spring night, the search for a stollen car and lots of trail runs through Forest park later, the two found themselves happily surprised by the ease of their companionship. After Lane graduated PT school the two decided to continue their bumble "adventure" up north in Bellingham, WA with their adopted child/maltipoo, Mona Lisa Junior. Since then the two have continued to tolerate each other while logging hundreds of hiking and running miles in the North Cascades, sliding down Mt. Baker, walking the old brick streets of Fairhaven and occasionally "swimming" in the Salish sea. While Mona only continues with us in spirit, she will always be a part of our love story. On the first day of fall of 2023, with almost as much spontaneity as their first bike ride together, Kevin pulled a ring out of his backpack in the Lake Harriet rose garden in Minneapolis, MN, and handed it to Lane, saying "yes I'm serious". With only slightly more planning, we would like to share a moment of our lives with all of you. Please join us in Yellowstone, September 26-28th, 2025, at the mammoth hot springs resort for three days of merriment in one of the most beautiful places in the world.
