Fiery Gizzard Trail

Shenanigans

A local favorite bar known for their cold beers on tap and casual dining. Also where the welcome event will be held. You *must* have your I.D.!

Sewanee Memorial Cross

This is a beautiful overlook at any time of day. This is where you will find the World War II monument - a spectacular white cross on the edge of the mountain. **Follow Tennessee Avenue to the very end of the road.

The Blue Chair Cafe & Tavern

Great breakfast spot on campus and in downtown! There is an attached tavern, great outdoor seating, and a delicious lunch menu.

The Course at Sewanee

The golf course is booked for a private event all day on Friday. If you would like to play Thursday, Saturday or Sunday you can call the Course at the number listed above to schedule a tee time.

Mountain Goat Market

Awesome breakfast and lunch spot off-campus in downtown Monteagle. This is about a 10 minute drive from Sewanee's campus.

Morgan's Steep

This is our favorite, short hike that circles the campus. It is approximately 1.5 miles long starting at Morgan's Steep and ending at Sewanee Memorial Cross (on the Perimeter Trail). **From central campus, follow Morgan's Steep Road to the end where you will find the trail head.

High Point Restaurant

Located in a historic home in downtown Monteagle, this is one of the area's best dinner spots. The restaurant is a 10 minute drive from campus. We recommend calling in advance to make a reservation.

Lake Cheston

On campus lake with public access, a walking trail, and swimming platform. Come enjoy the sun on the beach or play a game of beach volleyball.

Stirling's Coffee House

Great coffee, light breakfast, and lunch spot on campus.

Harris Stadium

Football field where Chris gave 'em hell! Sewanee's McGee Field is the South's oldest college football field in it's original location, and the 4th oldest field in the nation.

La Bella Pearl

This is an off campus boutique dinner spot. This is a 5 minute drive from campus. We recommend calling ahead to make a reservation.

Green's View

This is a beautiful, scenic overlook on campus right next to the golf course.

Jim Oliver's Smoke House Restaurant

Great for breakfast! Much like a Cracker Barrel.

This is the restaurant at The Sewanee Inn. Great lunch and dinner! We would recommend calling ahead to make a reservation for dinner.
