If you don't want to get a hotel, you can always look out for a local homestay! We love doing this ourselves and highly recommend it. If this is the way you want to go, please look and book ASAP as availability often decreases rapidly and prices start to skyrocket the closer you get to the date of your stay.

JFK is a little over an hour away by car and has many car rental companies if needed. Please note, a taxi/uber will cost about $100-$150 one-way.
