Flight
YVR is Vancouver's main international airport. Major carriers including Air Canada, United, Delta, American, and Alaska have regular daily scheduled flights. We recommend flying nonstop or through a warm or mild weather hub to avoid any possible winter weather delays. Reasonable pricing for round-trip tickets range from $350-600.
Rental Car
The airport is located in the suburb of Richmond approximately 25 minute drive from downtown hotels. UBER and LYFT have finally begun operating in the city. They are still getting fully operational, so expect longer wait times than you might be used to. Please note that events are spread throughout the city. We highly recommend renting a car for comfort and convenience. All of the major rental car companies have locations at Vancouver Airport. If unable to rent a car, we recommend the Canada Line train, which runs directly from the airport to downtown. Lastly, taxis can be ordered by calling Vancouver Yellow Cab (604-681-1111) or using their app.
Hotel
We recommend out-of-towners stay in one of the many hotels located in the downtown core. Vancouver has a range of options for every taste and budget. Here are some of our favorites! •ROSEWOOD HOTEL GEORGIA ($$$$$) •FAIRMONT PACIFIC RIM ($$$$$) •WESTIN BAYSHORE ($$$$) •FAIRMONT HOTEL VANCOUVER ($$$$) •SUTTON PLACE HOTEL & SUITES ($$$$) •HYATT REGENCY VANCOUVER ($$$) Our personal travel agent, Carly Renshaw, is available if wanted and can access special perks at certain Vancouver hotels. Shuttle
February 9, 2020 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm
We will be offering a shuttle on the day of the wedding to help our out-of-town guests without vehicles get to Grouse Mountain and back to their hotels. The shuttle will pick up guests at Congregation Beth Israel following the ceremony and transport you to the base of the mountain. It will then depart Grouse at 11pm and drop off at the centrally located Hotel Vancouver downtown. Please note: this shuttle is available on a first come first serve basis. To reserve your spot, please RSVP through the website. Also note, guests using the shuttle must arrange their own transportation to Beth Israel for the ceremony at 1:30pm.
