Meghan and Kim met when Kim was randomly assigned to be Meghan's roommate when Kim transferred to Binghamton University freshman year. Meghan's first roommate had moved to a different area of campus, leaving Meghan's room with an open space. Due to a vacation, a broken Blackberry, and a dose of fate, Meghan missed an email asking her if she wanted to avoid a roommate placement. Kim walked in to the dorm she was assigned to see Meghan's Audrey Hepburn poster, and since she had an almost identical one to hang up on her side of the room Kim had a feeling it was going to be a good fit. Kim and Meghan met a few days later when Meghan came back to campus and hit it off immediately. The two quickly became a nearly inseparable duo and were rarely seen in Binghamton without the other. After that initial dorm room, Kim and Meghan lived together through graduation at Binghamton, sharing 3 dorm rooms, an apartment, and their closets for 4 years. After Binghamton the two have remained just as inseparable, despite the many phases of their lives that have elapsed since. The three Binghamton Besties (Kim, Meghan, and Katie) always joke that they are the doctorate trio, each holding a separate type of doctorate degree; Meghan is the PHD in the doctorate trio of Kim (JD), Meghan (PHD), and Katie (MD). Kim and Meghan like to say they are each others "Person," they are truly more like sisters than friends.
Shannon
Bridesmaid
Kimberly and Shannon have known each other since they were toddlers, growing up a block away from one another in Ronkonkoma. Shannon was Kimberly's first ever friend, and the two have been best friends ever since their first meeting. The girls met while Kimberly and her family were on a bike ride in front of Shannon's home. Kimberly and Shannon did everything together from girl scouts and barbie dolls, to dance parties and proms. Kimberly and Shannon are a prime example of opposites attract; one blonde-one brunette, one sporty-one clumsy, one popular-one nerdy. Despite their apparent differences, Kimberly and Shannon have been best friends for nearly 30 years and have not only grown up together, but have grown with one another as friends, seeing each other through all the highs and lows of their lives. Shannon is a middle school health educator, the life of the party, and has been by Kimberly's side for every important moment in her life. It is only fitting she will be by her side in June.
Katharine
Bridesmaid
Kim met Katie through their mutual friend Meghan (MOH). Meghan and Katie were both Pre-Med and English Dual Majors at Binghamton University and formed a bond the semester Kim was at fashion school in Manhattan. Kim was thankfully able to take advantage of Meghan already befriending Katie. Kim met Katie on a night out in Binghamton shortly after Kim transferred. Kim and Katie have a mutual love for all things girly; flowers, nail polish, and glitter and became fast friends. The pair both love to hit the dance floor, and you will surely find them dancing together in June. They shared an apartment together with Meghan in Binghamton their senior year of college. Katie can always make Kim laugh and has an amazing ability to make you feel special, the ultimate hype woman! Katie is the Medical Doctor in the doctorate trio of Kim (Juris Doctorate), Meghan (PHD), and Katie (MD). Kim and Katie have been the best of friends since meeting over 12 years ago!
John
Groomsman
John is Christopher's older brother. John is one year older than Chris and Chris and John have played hockey together since Chris was six years old. Chris and John enjoy sharing their mutual love of the sport and the New York Islanders. Chris visited John during his freshman year at college and the visit confirmed Chris's decision to follow in his footsteps and attend Binghamton University the following year. There Chris joined John's existing group of friends and lived with John off-campus for several years. It was also through this group of friends that Chris met Kimberly. Chris and Kimberly enjoy visiting John and his wife Monique (who actually lived in Kimberly's college suite sophomore year) at their home in Burnt Hills, New York.
Brian
Groomsman
Brian is Christopher's younger brother. Brian is one year younger than Christopher and has played hockey with Chris and John since he was just five years old. Brian also followed in his older brother's footsteps to attend Binghamton University. Chris and Brian share a love for all sports and often attend Yankee games together. Brian also runs their family football pick'em league. Chris and Brian are both accountants at Big Four firms in Manhattan. Brian lives nearby to Chris and Kimberly and they enjoy hanging out together, especially in the summer on Brian's outdoor patio. They spent many weekends there during COVID, while Brian manned the grill and perfected his smashburgers.
