It all began on June 12, 2018, when Laura and Russell went on their first date at Pedalers Fork in Los Angeles. Over fries and champagne, they quickly discovered how easy it was to talk and laugh together. Laura may have only offered a handshake at the start of the evening (much to Russell’s concern that she wasn’t interested), but by the end of the night, they both knew there was something special between them. The years that followed were filled with adventure - concerts, travel, and countless memories made with friends and family. In 2021, they made the big move to Nashville, where Russell has learned to appreciate the charm of the South and now fully understands the meaning of “bless your heart.” Exactly seven years after their first date, on June 12, 2025, Russell proposed at the Biltmore in Asheville, North Carolina. It was the perfect day filled with joy, happy tears, and some relief for Russell. Now, as they prepare to tie the knot on June 12, 2026, Laura and Russell can’t wait to gather with their favorite people to mark the next chapter of their story. They’re excited to keep building their life together and to see what other surprises June 12 has in store for them for years to come.
