COVID-19 FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lance Hopkins and Tamara Ibezim
This list will be updated as more information is provided to us by our venue and in compliance with Federal and State guidelines.
Question

Are guests required to be vaccinated?

Answer

No, but it is preferred. Vaccine appointments have been challenging to schedule and we understand how some may feel concerned about the decision to vaccinate. We encourage all guests who are able to get themselves vaccinated.

Question

Should guests obtain a COVID-19 test prior to attendance?

Answer

Yes, it is strongly recommended that you test no longer than 3 days prior to the date of our wedding. Testing is not a full proof solution and does not guarantee you have not been exposed. Masks, social distancing, and appropriate precautions will be taken regardless of a "Negative" test result.

Question

Are masks required?

Answer

Yes, masks are required at all times while on site at the venue.

Question

How many people will be in attendance?

Answer

New Jersey COVID-19 guidelines state indoor gatherings for wedding ceremonies, funerals, or memorial services must be limited to 25 percent of a room's capacity, but no more than 150 individuals. We will have no more than 150 guests who are appropriately distanced at the ceremony and reception.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Shadowbrook is a private estate set on 18 secluded acres. The venue can host up to 600 guests, with lots of indoor and outdoor space made available for use while on site. The ceremony will be indoors in the chapel on site of the venue. Masks will be required for the full duration of the ceremony. The cocktail hour, weather permitting, can be outdoor as well as indoor. The site offers plenty of space to accommodate both options to make guests as comfortable and safe as possible. The reception will be indoors, with tables appropriately distanced, and masks required when guests are not eating or drinking.

Question

How will food and drinks be served?

Answer

All staff will be required to wear masks while servicing tables during the cocktail hour and reception. All food will be provided as plated service, with appropriate distancing in place.

Question

Will there be sanitizing stations?

Answer

Yes. There will be sanitizing stations throughout the venue for use.

Question

Will there be any precautions taken for high-risk guests?

Answer

Yes! In fact, we are treating all of our guests as if they were high-risk and prioritizing their safety. Should you require any special needs, please reach out to Lance or Tamara. The venue is handicap accessible and is well-quipped to meet any additional needs that may arise, especially those that would make our guests feel safe and comfortable.
