We were introduced to each other at his brother's wedding. Lance's new sister-in-law and friend of Tamara completed the final act of a grand set up she was orchestrating behind the scenes. Neither of us knew much about each other before their wedding and are both hard to convince, but when someone close to you says, "When I talk to either of you I feel like I'm talking to the other person, so you'll either love each other or hate each other!" you have to see for yourself! We met November 4, 2011 and haven't gone a day without speaking since! Our relationship spans close to a decade of long- distance trips across state lines, new jobs and addresses, and most important - consisted of building a foundation of trust, communication, and compassion that inevitably lead to our engagement on September 29, 2019. So much of that time in our twenties was spent learning about who we were as individuals and how we wanted to show up for each other in our relationship. We are so grateful for each other and for the opportunity to stand before God, our family, and closest friends to make this lifelong commitment. We can't wait to see you on May 20, 2021!!
