There are a number of options for getting around Steamboat. Downtown Steamboat is a very walkable town with many restaurants, bars, and shops. There is also a lovely walking path along the river. For guests staying at the Steamboat Grand or lodging near the gondola base, there is a free town shuttle that operates from approximately 6am to 11pm. The route runs from downtown to the gondola base and back throughout the day. This is a great option for guests not wanting to rent a car. More information regarding the shuttle service can be found here: https://steamboatsprings.net/876/Summer-Schedule-Routes Rideshare options (Uber/Lyft) are available but limited in Steamboat. The rodeo will be in town the same weekend as the wedding, so we anticipate it will be an especially busy time. Renting a car is another option for transportation, especially for those wanting to take advantage of Steamboat's beautiful mountain landscape. In July, wildflower season should be in full force, so a daytime hike is highly recommended :)
There will be a shuttle service to and from the wedding. The shuttle service will pick up and drop off guests at the Steamboat Grand. Guests will be picked up at the Grand to go to the wedding at 3:45pm. Buses will be departing the venue back to the Grand at 9, 10, 10:30 and 11pm.
Unfortunately, there is no parking at the venue. Rideshare services are limited in Steamboat and all guests are encouraged to utilize the provided shuttles.
Recommended attire for the welcome party at Old Town Pub is dressy casual. Recommended attire for the wedding at La Joya Dulce is cocktail.
The name(s) on the invitation include all guests invited to the wedding. While we wish we could extend a +1 to all guests, we are not able to accommodate additional guests due to venue size.
To ensure that all of our guests, including parents, are able to relax and enjoy themselves, we have made the decision to make our wedding adults-only. If you plan to bring your little ones to Steamboat for the weekend, they are invited to attend the welcome party at Old Town Pub. We thank you for understanding.
