We’re getting married!

This story goes much further back than most realize. 2001 was the year Lana & Andy both started at Crane Lake Camp. However, they were really never friends. In 2006, they were on the same Color War team as captains. After that summer & a fall bday party at the Levine’s, Lana and Andy never spoke again… well, except for a “HBD” on Facebook once a year. 11 years later, Lana saw an email that said “Andy liked your picture.” She clicked on the email & couldn’t really see any further details (since she didn't actually pay for JDate), but she had an immediate feeling of “Andy Levine.” Being in sales, Lana knew to strike while the iron was hot. Within seconds, Lana looked up Andy on Facebook. “Did you just like my picture or something?” In typical Levine fashion, Andy wrote back, “Yes.” Finally he invited Lana to “catch up.” She wrote in her datebook, “Date with Andy?” in yellow – sort of invisible so she wouldn’t jinx it. They met at Stone Street Tavern on Aug 28th, 2017. They left their 1st date knowing there was something special. From that day fwd, the rest is history. They fell in love quickly & knew they had an extraordinary love to be cherished. In 2018, they moved in together! (Lana lived in Hoboken & Andy lived in Astoria, Queens, so when they were figuring out where to move in together, Lana really stepped out of her comfort zone, and they moved to Hoboken.) 2019 brought even more love & prepared them for 2020, when they survived a global pandemic, COVID (yes, they both got it), and 2 cats! 2020 also brought the most special day, their engagement! Lana surprised Andy with a birthday Spa Day on November 7th. Knowing the day was all about him, Andy decided to flip it after dinner & make the day about Lana to throw her off guard. (What a charmer!) Andy got down on one knee on their balcony (their favorite spot) with string lights and champagne, & the moment was perfect. They cannot wait to see what the rest of life has in store for them!
