The proposal was a day of surprises. We met at the Botanical Gardens downtown (one of many favorite date spots), and went on a city adventure.

Our city adventures led us to Crumbs and Whiskers, where we were greeted with "JanamJanam" playing overhead and Shazia and Shahzad being absolute sweethearts.

Our Nikah was on 12/31/2019. We wanted to end the year with a new beginning, and are so grateful to Allah (swt) for surrounding us with many of our family and friends for this momentous occasion.
