Gotta go see the Rio Grande Gorge from the Bridge - a quick 10 minute drive from the plaza.
John Dunn Bridge
Great spot to hang by the Rio and have a picnic. Also some sport climbing for the climbing nerds out there.
Taos Farmers Market
Awesome farmer's market on Saturday mornings from 8:00-12:30pm
The Bavarian Restaurant
Great spot for beers and food in the Taos Ski Valley.
Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs Resort & Spa
Magical spa about an hour outside of Taos. Go for a soak, or stay for a night - you can't go wrong here.
Wheeler Peak
Highest peak in NM! Chris will be hiking on Thursday morning if you want to join!

Half-day fly fishing excursions, or rafting tours on the Rio Grande, Chama, or Red Rivers. We will be doing a lazy float on the Rio Grande on Friday, August 8th, but feel free to break from the group and do your own river adventures while in northern NM.

The Social Club
The Social Club is the sister bar of Dry Point Distillers (Chris' bar in Las Cruces) and run by Stefan (Chris' dad), and his partner, Theresa. We will be going to The Social Club on Friday for a welcome party, but if you want delicious cocktails and great food any other time, check it out!
