Flight
Without traffic, Indian Wells is less than 2.5 hours from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). But with traffic, the trip could take up to 6 hours! So please use a traffic predictor (e.g., Google Maps or Waze) and plan accordingly. You could also fly into Ontario International Airport (ONT), which is usually a 1.5 hr drive. If you find a good flight to ONT, that's great -- but be aware that often doesn't save that much time as compared to LAX. Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) is the most convenient option. The drive from the airport is about 30 minutes. However, you may pay a premium for direct flights to PSP. We know this is quite a trek for many of you -- we're so grateful, and promise to do everything we can to make it fun and easy as soon as you arrive. (And if you can, consider extending your trip by a few days for more flight options -- and check out the magic that is Joshua Tree!)
Hotel
Most of the weekend's activities will take place at the Sands. We're now completely sold out -- thank you! -- but there are also many hotels in the area, e.g., Hotel Paseo (https://www.hotelpaseo.com/) and the Hyatt Regency (https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/hotel/california/hyatt-regency-indian-wells-resort-and-spa/champ) are both just a 5-minute drive. You can find others on Kayak (https://www.kayak.com/hotels/Indian-Wells,CA-c1849/2019-04-05/2019-04-07/1adults) or your preferred search engine. Airbnbs and VRBOs are also plentiful. In either case, please book early! It's a popular time to visit the area. And as you think about where to stay, note that there are a ton of Lyfts and Ubers in the area, so transportation should be a breeze :)
