Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly respond by September 5, 2025, using the RSVP tab on this website. We know this is earlier than usual, but because this is an international destination wedding, we need to finalize numbers well in advance to help with hotel accommodations, travel planning, and group activities. Your early response will help us make this an unforgettable experience for everyone — thank you so much for understanding!

Question

If we can’t come to the Italy wedding, will there be a celebration in the U.S.?

Answer

Yes! We’re planning a U.S. wedding reception in Tampa, Florida in October 2026. If you’re unable to join us in Italy, we would absolutely love to celebrate with you stateside. You’ll be invited to both events — so no matter where you join us, we can’t wait to celebrate together! More details about the Tampa reception coming soon...

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re keeping our Italy wedding very intimate, only our immediate family and closest friends are invited, with a total maximum guest count of 40. Due to the size of our venue and the logistics of hosting an international celebration, we must keep it small. Because of this, we’re only able to accommodate those specifically listed on the invitation envelope. We truly appreciate your understanding and feel so grateful to celebrate this special moment with our closest loved ones in Italy!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this can be a special getaway for you, and we truly appreciate your understanding as we keep the event intimate and relaxed.

Question

Do I need to follow this entire proposed itinerary? What is it exactly?

Answer

No, you don't have to follow this big, proposed itinerary! We just didn't want to invite everyone to Italy without some sort of plan and a resource to help you out. That's where Amanda, our awesome travel planner, comes in. She's here to make your life easier by coordinating all activities, transports, hotels, etc (& she is free, she will not charge you anything). You can reach her and book everything through her page: (copy and paste this link into your browser) https://app.tern.travel/trips/aTx7R9CXi2vGKCIf7ooElw/itineraries/qWmqWXyAs8sB1y9pRtQDtQ?tab=full Want to visit Lake Como and Rome and then head home? Amanda's got you covered. Just coming to the wedding and then jetting off to Greece on your own? Amanda can help with that too! We just wanted to give you some structure and options to make your trip planning a breeze.

Question

Am I required to stay at the hotel the ceremony is taking place at (Hotel II Perlo)?

Answer

Staying at Hotel Il Perlo is not required—but it’s highly encouraged! Transportation in the Bellagio area can be tricky—it’s not as simple as calling an Uber—so staying at the wedding venue makes things much easier. The hotel will be exclusively reserved for our group on the night of September 5, making it a special and intimate part of the celebration. It’s a charming boutique hotel with just 17 rooms (accommodating up to 40 guests), so it’ll be a cozy and memorable night with just us. If you prefer to stay elsewhere, that’s totally fine. Amanda, our travel planner, has great nearby options and can help you book. That said, she also highly recommends staying on-site due to the limited transportation options in the area. Please remember, you must RSVP first, then Gina will figure out with you which room type you prefer before booking.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception dinner to follow will take place outdoors in the stunning setting of Lake Como, so we’re embracing the elegance of the location with a request for formal attire. It'll be warm, around mid-70 degrees, No need for a tux, just dress to please. There’s no strict dress code, but think: ✨ Long, flowy dresses that dance in the breeze ✨ Suits with a cool European flair ✨ Soft, romantic colors and styles that pair Just dress to match the magic of the day, Effortlessly elegant and ready to sway!

Question

Can I afford this?

Answer

We know that attending a wedding in Italy is a significant financial commitment, and we want to be completely transparent about that. Please know from the bottom of our hearts: we do not expect everyone to be able to make the trip, and there is absolutely no pressure to attend. Truly—there will be no hard feelings if you can’t join us abroad. When we chose Italy, it was because it felt right for us—a dream that spoke to our hearts. But what matters most is celebrating this moment with the people we love, in whatever way that’s possible. That’s why we’re also planning a celebration in Tampa, so we can gather with everyone stateside and create beautiful memories together here at home. If you are considering joining us in Italy, here’s a general idea of what to expect: Estimated Cost: For a couple, an 8-day trip to Italy typically averages around $1,000 per day, or about $8,000 total ($4,000 per person). Of course, this can vary depending on your travel style, flight choices, and which activities you choose to participate in—but it’s a helpful ballpark figure. Itinerary Options: If you’d like to follow the proposed itinerary (see the Schedule tab), Amanda has thoughtfully curated both economy (4-star hotel) and premium hotel (5-star hotel) options for each destination. You’ll find links with pricing and details to help you plan and budget in a way that works best for you. We hope this gives you a clear picture and helps you make the best decision for you and your family. Whether we’re raising a glass together in Italy or dancing the night away in Tampa, we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you.

Question

If I'm able to attend, when would I need to book everything—like the hotel and flight? Also, would I need to pay for everything upfront?

Answer

No, you won’t need to pay for everything upfront. Flights likely won’t be released until around 9 months before the trip, depending on the airline. If you're booking hotels and transport through Amanda, we’re aiming to start making those arrangements around October to lock in availability and pricing. Most hotels will be pay-on-arrival. For transfers, trains, and most activities, there will typically be a deposit required, with the remaining balance due closer to the travel date.
