6:30 pm - 10:00 pm

This event is formal attire, but please wear something you can get down and funky with on the dance floor! The event is also outdoors on the coast, so think warm and breezy! The majority of the Hermitage grounds are grass with some gravel areas and a patio.

At cocktail hour there will be coastal hors d'oeuvres, games, and of course... cocktails! Our specialty beverage will be Virginia Beach's signature beverage: the crush! We also encourage guests to use this time to explore the Hermitage's gardens and museum if you'd like. Dinner will be served buffet style and will be contemporary Latin inspired food, aka Ian's favorite! Guests will have the option to make their plate however they like... taco, burrito, or bowl style... with options including: steak, adobo chicken, fajita grilled mushrooms (vegan), cilantro lime rice, beans, guacamole, cotija cheese, and tons of different fresh salsas and accoutrements! We will have elote salad and a fresh watermelon feta salad to eat as well. The majority of our options are gluten free, but we have plenty of dairy free, vegetarian, and some vegan options as well!
