Avanti's has the BEST bread (Alex) and the BEST ranch (Taylor) in the entire world!! Taylor's go to is an open faced pizza bread (or burger if you like meatballs) with a side of ranch, obviously. Alex's go-to is two grilled cheese sandwiches with american cheese. (lol)

Children's Discovery Museum

For those families with kiddos out there, this is a great place to spend your afternoon! Right near the hotel, you won't have to travel far.

Desthil Brewery

A great place to get some good food and local beer! There's an outdoor area with yard games and a cute indoor area with a lot of seating.

Steak 'n Shake

A staple in both of our high school years (at different locations) we would go here after sporting events to hang out with our friends. The original Steak 'N Shake opened in Normal in 1934. Try an original steak burger or fisco melt with fries and be sure to get a milkshake too!

Uptown Circle

Uptown Normal is where our reception will be! This area has so many cute shops and restaurants. Check out the Mole Hole, Garlic Press, Emack & Bolio's, Sugar Momma, or Medici to name a few of our favs. all right outside the front entrance of the hotel!

Both of us grew up going here! A great sports bar with an outdoor patio. You HAVE to get the cheeseballs!
