Once upon a college scene, in the piney woods of Nacogdoches, two sweethearts embarked on a journey of love and laughter. Lainy Graves, the spirited soul from Bellville, and Christian Rodgers, the charismatic gent from Longview, first crossed paths at Stephen F. Austin University. As fate would have it, their introduction at 18 and 20 blossomed into a bond too strong to ignore. Christian, a proud brother of Theta Chi, lived at the fraternity house, a place that soon became the backdrop for countless cherished memories with friends who would become family. It was there, amid the camaraderie and college cheers, that Lainy and Christian’s love story truly began to flourish. Lainy, with her radiant smile and leadership flair, shone brightly as the head dreamgirl, winning hearts for two years running. Together, they shared a passion for the vibrant beats of music festivals and the thrill of savoring new cuisines, a testament to their adventurous spirits. Their love was a melody that danced through the seasons, with December 3, 2019, marking the official harmony of their hearts. Post-graduation, Lainy and Christian ventured to Houston in 2023, embracing the adult life with the same zeal they brought to every shared experience. On the fabulous day of October 14, 2023, Christian and Lainy got engaged at Bear Creek park, eager to embark on the next chapter of their relationship. Now, as they build their life together, their family has grown to include two adorable members: Summer and Nala, their fur babies who’ve filled their home with warmth, endless joy and laughter.
