Lainey is a native to Cincinnati- raised on the West Side. She attended The University of Dayton for undergrad and The University of Cincinnati for grad school. She is a proud Flyer but cheers on the Bearcats at football games. Lainey is a Social Worker and enjoys trying new restaurants/bars around town and having movie nights in with Michael.
Michael Graham

Michael grew up in Wilmington, OH and moved to Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati. He is a die hard Bearcats fan (and the reason we have football season tickets). Michael works in IT and loves watching sports, attending Bearcats and FC Cincinnati games, and playing board games on nights in.
Carlye Shumaker

Carlye is Lainey’s sister. Carlye and Lainey have been best friends since Lainey’s birth. They have gone through life by each other’s side. Lainey stood next to Carlye on her wedding day as her Maid of Honor and now it’s Carlye’s turn to return the favor.
Daniel Kruger
Best Man
Daniel and Michael met in grade school, while growing up in Wilmington. The two played many sports together growing up and remained close even as they went their separate ways for college. Daniel would come to Cincy regularly to catch a Bearcats game or go to a Cincinnati Cyclones game while in college. Michael and Lainey like to make trips down to see Daniel and his wife Danielle in Lexington and vice versa.
Taylor Schinharl

Taylor and Lainey have been best friends since high school. Their friendship has lasted all these years despite Taylor’s numerous moves to different cities in Ohio. Taylor is currently based in Toledo and rushed home to Cincinnati so she could be at Lainey and Michael’s engagement.
Rob Shumaker

Rob is Lainey's brother-in-law. Rob and Michael have known each other for a short time after being introduced through Lainey, but have already had some great times. From an axe throwing competition to helping (Michael watched) Rob catch a shark in South Carolina.
Emily Harvey
Bridesmaid
Emily is Michael’s sister. Emily has made Lainey feel welcomed into the Graham family and she and Lainey have grown close through various family gatherings and time together. Lainey is excited to call Emily her sister-in-law!
Ty Carroll
Groomsman
Ty and Michael met in high school where they became good friends. The two went their separate ways as Ty enrolled at The Ohio State University, but they remained in close contact and made frequent trips to hangout on the weekends. Michael and Lainey still like to make trips to Columbus to hangout with Ty and his wife Mariah or go boating together.
Julie Saal

Julie and Lainey met in college at The University of Dayton. Lainey needed roommates going into junior year and was introduced to Julie through a mutual friend. They’ve remained friends since Graduating despite living 5 hours away from each other and try to visit each other a couple times a year.
Justin Guenther
Groomsman
Justin (Goonie) and Michael met in high school. They both attended the University of Cincinnati together where they became close friends and eventually roommates. After college they shared an apartment and many good times together. These days they are always at UC sporting events together and grab drinks on the weekend regularly.
Corinne Lewis
Bridesmaid
Corinne and Lainey met while in grad school at The University of Cincinnati. They’ve remained friends since graduating and used to have weekly dinners to study for licensure exams (and to watch the bachelor). Now, Lainey and Michael spend a lot of time with Corinne and her husband, David, going on double dates and having game nights.
Derek Williams

Derek and Michael grew up in Wilmington together and became close friends when attending UC. Many years later Derek, his wife Laura, Michael, and Lainey are still attending tailgates and barbecues regularly. Whether shanking balls off the tee or celebrating Bengals playoff wins, Derek and Michael are always down for a good time.
