Question

What are the current event restrictions for your area?

Answer

As of April 16, Boulder county (where we'll be hanging out) is at Level BLUE, meaning we'll continue to practice social distancing throughout out event, but we'll be able to err on the side of folks' comfort levels when it comes to wearing masks outside during the ceremony and cocktail hour. During the reception, please come prepared to wear a mask when not at your table. Question

Tell me about the wedding...inside? Outside?

Answer

A little bit of both with a lot of airflow. We are planning on having the ceremony and cocktail hour outside. The reception will be in a pavilion that allows for all doors to be open for constant air circulation throughout the space and evening.

Question

What safety precautions are you putting in place?

Answer

Vaccines: if you're eligible, willing, and able, go get it. We respect everyone's individual thoughts on the matter, and if that's not your thing, so be it. Currently, about 70% of folks who've RSVP'd and are coming to the wedding will be fully vaccinated by May 14, and we look forward to that number increasing. Testing: please give yourself time to receive a negative COVID-19 test result prior to joining us. Out of respect for everyone coming from varying locations, it will add a certain level of security. Knowledge is power! Masks: please bring one. We will have disposable masks available if you forget. Masks will be MANDATORY when riding the shuttle. Beyond that, please be prepared to wear a mask while not at your table during the reception. Thanks in advance for your cooperation. All support staff will wear masks throughout the event Distancing: we plan on having certain distancing measures in place and will give details as they become available

Question

I'll be fully vaccinated by the time the wedding comes around! Hooray! What can or can't I do?

Answer

Yay, you! Way to go! Per the CDC, your world just got a little bigger! https://www.npr.org/sections/coronavirus-live-updates/2021/03/08/974783644/cdc-says-its-safe-for-vaccinated-people-to-do-these-activities For the purposes of keeping our whole wedding population safe, we're still going to require you to wear a mask if you choose to take advantage of our wedding shuttle, since we consider those to be close quarters where social distancing isn't really possible. Thanks for your understanding and cooperation!
