Flight
SeaTac is your best and only bet for flying into Seattle. Savvy travelers can enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime conjunction of fast, cheap and good by taking the 1 Line light rail from the airport to downtown Seattle. Otherwise, Lyfts, Ubers and good old fashioned taxis are easy to access from the terminal. Those wishing to venture farther afield can rent a car, but should be advised that parking downtown can be less than plentiful. Pro Tip: Schedule an appointment with SEA Spot Saver before your flight home to avoid long lines at security.
Rental Car
If you'd like to venture out of the metro area to experience the full spectrum of springtime in the Pacific Northwest, rent a car and go exploring.
Train
Guests visiting from Los Angeles who are out of their minds can enjoy a trip on the scenic Coast Starlight train. Hop on at Union Station just before 10am and enjoy the ride. You'll arrive in Seattle around 8pm the next day. "Widely regarded as one of the most spectacular of all train routes, the Coast Starlight links the greatest cities on the West Coast. The scenery along the Coast Starlight route is unsurpassed. The dramatic snow-covered peaks of the Cascade Range and Mount Shasta, lush forests, fertile valleys and long stretches of Pacific Ocean shoreline provide a stunning backdrop for your journey."
Travel Note
If you want to drive here from LA, you can literally take the 5 the whole way. Just remember to get off in Seattle or else you'll end up in British Colombia.
Hotel
We've always loved Hotel Sorrento for its old-fashioned charm and its charming old fashioneds. It's also just around the corner from the venue. We have a limited block of rooms, so act now while supplies last.
