Alissa has been my best friend since basically forever. I met her a little after we moved to the UP and all I can remember is that once we got to know each other, we were inseparable. We were never seen at school, church, or a community function without each other. To explain it simply, she is apart of all my childhood memories and I honestly do not know what I would have done without her. She has the most kind, hospitable, and generous heart out there, and I am so thankful I can call her not only my friend but my best friend.

Hunter and I have been friends since I was in middle school. We grew to be friends over playing sports together. I enjoy spending time watching the Packers and NBA games with him. I am thankful of his friendship.
Audrey Maloney

What can I say except that we were born to be inseparable. Audrey is my sister, and even though we are ten years apart, we are still the best of friends. She is the sweetest, most generous person I know, and I am truly thankful for her running to my rescue when my brothers start to bug me. She may be small, but she knows exactly how to get the boys to stop (usually by jumping on or tickling them). I am so thankful she can stand by my side, and I cant wait to see the beautiful young women she continues to grow up to be.

Michael is Ashley's youngest brother and I enjoy playing all sorts of games with him. It has been fun getting to know him and I look forward to becoming his future brother-in-law. I'm thankful to have him in my life.
Grace Hood

I met Grace at Boyce College in 2019. We were both on the volleyball team there, and we quickly became friends (even after I accidentally fell on her ankle and put her on crutches for most of the season). We were both in the elementary education program and took a class together. We have traveled together, spent endless hours on FaceTime laughing, and will have been bridesmaids in each others weddings. We are the epitome of a successful long distant best friend relationship. I am so thankful for Grace and to have a friend in the same season of life as me, even if she’s hundreds of miles away.
Joshua Maloney

Josh is also Ashley's younger brother. We have played countless hours of sports together. Our relationship started to grow after I started dating Ashley. He has become little brother I have always wanted. I'm thankful for him.
Kaylee Veneberg

Kaylee and I met probably 8-10 years ago through Alissa. Kaylee and Alissa are first cousins and I would tag along to their family functions, so I eventually got to know her pretty well. Our relationship grew slowly because she lived six hours away and neither of us really wrote letters or texted, but around 2016 whenever she came up, we would jump right back to were our relationship left off like nothing happened. Since then, she has gotten married and moved ten minutes from me, so we are able to see each other weekly and we usually do at our Friday morning coffee dates. I am thankful for her kind, willing heart, and that I can call her one of my closest friends.

Caleb and I have been friends since I can remember. We grew up hunting, fishing, and usually getting in trouble together. He has been like an older brother to me and I'm thankful for his friendship.

Megan has been one of my closest and dearest friends since day one. Megan's parents became friends with mine as soon as we moved, so I have known Meg for as long as I can remember. Even though Megan is a few years older than me, it has never once stood in the way of our friendship. I have always admired her confidence and her ability to give some of the best advice. I am truly grateful for our years of friendship, and I can not wait for all the new memories we will make.

Austin and I have been friends since I met him in kindergarten. We've spent countless hours and dollars together over the years going to the movies and out to eat. I have greatly enjoyed being his friend.

Paige and I have been best friends since birth. Paige is one of my cousins on my mom’s side of the family. She and I have one of those friendships where we are able to jump right back into where we left off no matter how long it has been since we've talked or seen each other. I have always loved Paige's sweet, genuine heart, and I am thankful that she is not only my cousin, but one of my dearest friends.

Matthew is Ashley's older brother. We have played on soccer, basketball, and track teams throughout high school together. I enjoy playing video games with Matthew and appreciate his friendship.

Joslyn, Jaron's older sister, and I have known each other since my family moved to the UP. We have played on the same sport teams, worked together at Dairy Queen, and have been in all the same church functions. I have always admired Joslyn for her kindness, confidence, and giving heart. I am beyond excited to be her sister and make an endless amount of memories together.

Brett has been one of my friends for as long as me and Austin have been because he is Austin's younger brother. Brett and I have played tons of soccer and hockey games together. I'm thankful for his friendship.

She has always been someone I have looked up to because of her genuineness and love for people. We have slowly grown to become great friends and I can’t wait to see our friendship grow more as sisters.

Mitchell and I met through our mutual friend, Brett. Through the years, we've played on a few hockey teams together. We became closer friends after the countless days spent at the Cromell's house over the summers during high school. I enjoy his friendship.

Jason has been my best friend before I could even remember because he's my Dad. We have done everything from riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, playing basketball, watching sports, and enjoying each others company. I'm grateful to have him in my life and honored for him to officiate Ashley and my wedding.
