Is this an adults only wedding?

Answer

Yes! We kindly request no children be in attendance. We realize this might cause some inconvenience, but we appreciate your cooperation. We want everyone (parents included!) to be able to be present, relax, and have a good time.

What events are planned for the weekend?

Answer

The wedding is the big event! We recognize many of our guests are coming in from out of town and we want to make sure everyone has time to explore the city we call home. As a result, we decided not to have additional events to provide everyone with the opportunity to plan as much sightseeing as they want, on the timeline they want, without having to take out large amounts of time for wedding weekend festivities.

The address for Woodlawn House is 9000 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22309. The ceremony and reception will both be here.

What time does the wedding start?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 5pm with cocktail hour and reception to follow.

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue. They also allow cars to be left overnight, so, if you end up indulging in the bar more than you planned, please call a car to take you home. We want everyone to stay safe!

How should we get to the venue?

Answer

If you're not driving yourself, the best way to get to the venue is a ride share service.

Do we need to rent a car?

Answer

To get to the hotel and wedding, a rental car is not needed. Both are easily accessible by either public transportation or ride share. It is also very easy to get to DC using the metro system or ride share if you prefer.
