Through HER eyes: LaDawn first laid eyes on Korbin in her Junior year of high school in a Seniors only photography class. She had expressed interest to her counselor who told her she'd only get into this class if a senior dropped it at the last minute. So, thanks to whoever was indecisive that day! The class was in one of the outdoor buildings so it was usually a little warm. She had lunch right before photography as did most of the students in that class, so it wasn't hard for students to get sleepy during the lecturing portion. On that fateful first day of class, LaDawn was diligently paying attention (haha) when she noticed someone with their head down on the desk next to her. She looked over and saw the cutest boy she'd ever noticed before. He was fast asleep...and drooling. She was completely enamored! She laughed at him and gathered the courage to talk to him when he woke up. That was August of 2011...they've been inseparable ever since.

From HIS perspective: It was Korbin's first day of his senior year. One of his final classes for the day was a senior-level elective: photography class. It happened after his lunch and he was tired so he knew day one of photography would be filled with sleep, sleep, and more sleep. He decided to sit in the middle row of the classroom, he'd come up with a pretty good stance that looked like he was working but he was really sleeping. He was confident that class would go just as planned. Before class had been in session for five minutes Korbin was already fast asleep. He'd learned to wake himself periodically to avoid any suspicion. This time, every time he woke up to scan the room he found that this beautiful girl was always staring...at him. To his surprise, she approached him, fast-forward to today and he still catches her stares.
