Her Take: One beautiful, Fall Saturday in Indiana - I had one of those really great days. Taking a road-trip with six girlfriends to an apple orchard, drinking wine and picking pumpkins. Later that evening, I was the only one who still had energy to go out dancing. So another girlfriend of mine, being the gem that she is, headed out with me - only to find the dance floor completely empty. Earlier in the week, another friend of mine had invited me to a show that night, remembering this - we decided to forgo dancing and walk there. We paid admission and then I remember turning around and it was as if time slowed for a moment - my friends, our mutual friend and Cisco had walked in. We all got a table and some drinks, I was busy chatting with our mutual friend, every now and then Cisco would look over at me, smile, kinda reach across the table at me to get my attention. Being smart, he befriended my girlfriend and soon enough she got up to let him take the chair next to me. We began talking, we talked all evening, our friends leaving us one by one. I still remember what we both wore that night. How he walked me to my car and said he would call me. Two days later he called, I answered and the rest is the Story of Us. His Take: Earlier in the afternoon, my friend invited me out for food and a show. We went to Scotty's for burgers and met two of his other friends who would be joining us that night. I remember we walked over to the place, paid $5 admission and I remember meeting Lacy and her friend. Lacy was very quiet and I was talking to her friend as we had grad school in common. Then her friend went to the restroom and I took her seat next to Lacy. I remember ordering water and ice tea all night because I was training for a triathalon. Lacy and I started talking and the first thing we had in common was running. Gradually, everyone left. Then we danced. It was late, so I asked her if I could walk her to her car. She said yes. Then I got digits!
