Our dress code is formal--let's get dressed up and be fancy for a night! Don’t hesitate to break out that tux, suit, or gown sitting in the back of your closet. Feel free to get creative with your look.
Please arrive early! We suggest arriving at 4:30 so that you can enjoy a historical tour of the church. Otherwise, we suggest planning to be at the church by 4:45 at the latest.
Our reception begins at 7pm in order to give our vendors time to set up the space. There will be about an hour between the end of the ceremony and the beginning of the reception. This should give guests some time between to freshen up, change out of those heels, and walk between sites.
Guests should enter Reading Terminal Market at the main entrance (by the sign) on Arch Street. Wedding coordinators will be present to help guests find the main event space within the Market.
Absolutely! In order to make our catering vendors aware of any allergies, we ask that you provide any dietary restrictions in your RSVP.
Yes! For the ceremony, we ask that small kids stay in the church nursery. Kids are more than welcome at our reception in Reading Terminal Market! Please be sure to include your kids on the RSVP so that we can reserve kids meals with our vendors.
We love your love! We both have large families and friends from all over, so in order to ensure that our wedding is intimate and that as many of our family and friends as possible can attend, we've included invited guests and kids on your invitation.
To keep our at-risk friends and family safe and healthy we strongly encourage everyone to take a rapid test before they attend the wedding.
Anyone from Philly can tell you that driving and parking in Center City can be... interesting... If you are driving to the wedding, we highly suggest parking your car at the hotel or a nearby garage and walking or taking a taxi/uber/lyft to wedding events. Parking for the reception at Reading Terminal Market can be validated for the evening for $5.
As a sacred service, we ask that you please keep all devices off and away during the ceremony. Our photographer will get plenty of snaps for us to enjoy and we will share them with everyone. We also encourage everyone to stay unplugged at the reception and enjoy the night!
For guests who would like to help us get started on our lives as newlyweds, we have curated a Zola registry. You can find it on the Registry tab on this site!
Yes! All are welcome in the Episcopal Church and are welcome to take communion if they so choose. According to Christ Church’s website, “wherever you find yourself on your journey of faith, you belong, just as you are.”
