November 1st 2019
Eric and I already have what most newly married couples need. If your thinking of giving a gift, to help us on our way, a gift of cash towards our honeymoon would really make our day. However, if you prefer to purchase a gift, feel free to surprise us.
If your invitation says "and guest" or "and family", then YES. If not, we would prefer it was just you.
We love your kids -- we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off where you can let your hair down and celebrate with us! Book a babysitter and let this be a kid-free event.
Cocktail, please. But we want you to feel comfortable, so if those shoes are too high or that top button is too tight, let it all hang loose.
Of course! We promise you won’t starve.
We ask that you refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony. There will be a professional photographer at the wedding. In todays world of smart phone cameras, everyone wants to snap a photo on their own device; however, we would much rather you be present in the moment with us during the ceremony. The professional photos will be a available to anyone interested. Please take all the photos you want at the reception and tag using our wedding hashtag #WillYouBeMyVaillancourt
As long as the bride can remain on time, the ceremony will start at 6pm. Please plan to be at the venue by at least 5:45, earlier if you would like to reserve a good seat!
Included in our invitation are a list of a few nearby accommodations. The same information can be found in the “travel” section of this website. We did block rooms at the Courtyard Marriot Waterbury Downtown.
We would love to see your photos from the day!! Please add #WillYouBeMyVaillancourt or tag us so we can find them.
Yes! There is enough (FREE!) parking for all of our guests at the venue.
