We met as sophomores at UW-Madison. We were close friends for more than six years, both at Madison and in Milwaukee. In January 2015, we both realized we should probably just date each other!

Who: We went with our friends Chelsie and Ryan (so the girls could talk horses and the boys could talk about...not horses.) How: Ryan (in on the plan) convinced Chelsie (not in on the plan) to bring Lisa back from the far reaches of the cross country course to the iconic statue of Bruce Davidson, Sr., for a photo op. When they posed, Patrick got down on one knee. He asked. She said yes!
