~Flight and shuttle considerations~
You can imagine we will have our hands full but plan to have
friends and family on hand to run local shuttles.
Rental cars are convenient but not necessary.
We will pick up and drop off from CHA airport and Groome Transportation.
Option #1 - Faster travel, higher cost : Flying into Chattanooga
Our airport CHA is small but nice. You will probably have a layover to get here but having a walk about and a snack is enjoyable. There are rental cars available on-site. When departing, the total of 4 gates makes "busy", a 5 minute wait at TSA.
We have had good luck using a VPN to get better rates,
try setting your location to somewhere overseas.
Option #2 - Slower and cheaper : Fly to ATL or BNA and shuttle in
Direct flights to Atlanta or Nashville are always cheaper but, then you are still 2 hours away from Chatt. Groome offers shuttles that cost about $50 each way.
