We are requiring that all guests (including plus-ones) who are medically able to do so be fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to the wedding--even if you have had Covid-19, if you are unvaccinated, we are not able to host you at our event. We came to this difficult decision not because of politics or personal feelings, but due to a desire to make our event as safe as possible in light of research about the virus and unfolding local restrictions, especially as we are expecting some vulnerable guests. We understand should you choose not to attend in light of this requirement. We are not able to offer exceptions to this rule, except in the event of medical exemptions. If you have such a medical condition which precludes you from being vaccinated, please reach out to us. Thank you for your patience and understanding during these uncertain times!
Our guest arrival time is 4:00 PM and our ceremony is scheduled to begin by 4:30 PM. At that time, we ask that you be present and seated!
There are two paid public parking lots across the street from the venue, the Palm Park Parking Lot (map here: https://www.santabarbaraca.gov/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?BlobID=17181) and the Garden Street Parking Lot (map here: https://www.santabarbaraca.gov/civicax/filebank/blobdload.aspx?BlobID=17175). The Carousel House is situated on the corner of Garden Street and Cabrillo Boulevard. The parking fees are $2 an hour, with a daily maximum of $12 in self-pay fees to park (please find more information about the self-pay parking system here: https://www.santabarbaraca.gov/gov/depts/waterfront/parking/selfpay.asp). Parking is not allowed in the lots overnight, as they close at 2 AM. There will be alcohol at the event, and as such we encourage you to have a designated driver or use Uber or a Cab Service.
If your invitation is addressed to your family, then vaccinated children over the age of ten are more than welcome. We know we have some guests with babies as well, and separation can be a challenge at such a young age. If that's the case, please let us know!
If your invitation says 'And Guest,' you are welcome to bring a plus one! Just please confirm that your plus one will attend and RSVP accordingly.
In June, Santa Barbara tends to be sunny and breezy. There may be a marine layer early in the day, but generally temperatures should be comfortable and beachy.
Please let us know about your food restrictions on your RSVP card!
Thank you so much for asking! We are registered here on Zola. Please see our 'Registry' tab for links and more information if you'd like to give us a gift. We appreciate you so much.
