The official start time is 5 PM. Arrive by this time to get the best seat to witness the traditional ceremony.

Think vibrant! Go for your best agbada, lace, or traditional attire. Remember, the brighter, the better! If you can’t find something flashy, just wear a smile—it's the best accessory!

How do I get my Nigerian head tie (Gele) tied?

There will be 3 ladies at the venue to tie you a beautiful style for you! There will be a $20 charge.

What’s the deal with the money dance?

Answer

Traditionally, Nigerian wedding guest "spray" the bride and groom with $1 bills on their wedding day for their future and prosperity. The fallen money will be collected by the wedding party.

What if I can’t handle the spicy food?

Not every food will be spicy. There will be chicken tetrizini , meatballs and salad as an alternative.
