The official start time is 5 PM. Arrive by this time to get the best seat to witness the traditional ceremony.

How do I get my Nigerian head tie (Gele) tied?

There will be 3 ladies at the venue to tie you a beautiful style for you! There will be a $20 charge.

What’s the deal with the money dance?

Answer

Traditionally, Nigerian wedding guest "spray" the bride and groom with $1 bills on their wedding day for their future and prosperity. The fallen money will be collected by the wedding party.

What if I can’t handle the spicy food?

Not every food will be spicy. There will be chicken tetrizini , meatballs and salad as an alternative.
