Winery & Food Loop
If you’re looking to pre-game nearby before the wedding, the building right across the street is a hidden gem. It may not look like much, but it’s packed with wineries (our favorite is Nine Hats), champagne tasting, the San Juan Seltzery, and Nine Pies—home to some of our favorite pizza in Seattle. It also features Lace’s favorite dessert spot, Hot Cakes (molten lava cakes!).
Washington State Fair
The Washington State Fair is a blast! Fun fact: Lace was born at the hospital next to the fair.
Crystal Mountain Resort - Mt. Rainier Gondola
Located right next to Mt. Rainier National Park, you can pay to ride the gondola for some of the most breathtaking views of the tallest mountain in the Cascades!
Bar House
Eclectic, grungy rock bar where Lace & Jacob first met! Every room has a different theme. Go here for an unforgettable night!
Fremont Troll
What good is a bridge without a troll underneath? This is mostly for photos, but worth a visit!
Itsumono
This is our favorite restaurant! Located in the Japantown neighborhood of Seattle, Itsumono has an ever-changing menu of Japanese fusion food. Located just a few blocks from where we had our first apartment together!
Geraldine's Counter Restaurant
Our favorite brunch/breakfast spot. Go here for the french toast. No joke, it will be the best you've ever had. Seriously. Located in the Columbia City neighborhood where we had our 2nd apartment together.
Devil's Reef
Our favorite Tiki Bar. Absolutely incredible (and powerful) cocktails.
Rattlesnake Ledge Trailhead
A short hike (4 miles, roundtrip) to wonderful views only 30 minutes outside of Seattle!
Pike Place Market
Iconic public market located in Downtown Seattle. A great place for food, sightseeing, and various local vendors. Lace worked at MarketSpice for a few years, look for the catnip balls jar with our beloved cat Neptune on it!
Add-A-Ball
Pinball bar/arcade in one of our favorite Seattle neighborhoods! Grab dinner at Red Star Taco and walk to Add-a-Ball for a great night out.
Howdy Bagel
For Jacob and Lace's favorite breakfast in Tacoma, head to Howdy Bagel! A wonderful queer-owned breakfast spot full of kind people and delicious food.
