See ya in the 'burg

As many of you know, we bought a home in Bellevue & eloped! With the state of the world being the way it is, we just decided to go ahead and do it. It was a beautiful day in Redmond, WA on 5.8.2021. We had the minimum # of people there to make it legally official, and now we are married. Even though we eloped, we are really sad we couldn't have all of our friends and loved ones there. We are so excited to celebrate our marriage, wedding, ALL of it with our closest friends & family in June 2022!

Hi everyone, Due to Covid and the reality of having many immunocompromised folks in our close circles, including Sabrina's own health, we have decided to postpone until June 25th, 2022! The good news is that it will hopefully be cooler than a late July wedding, and we can potentially celebrate worry-free next year. We love you all, and this decision was not made lightly. Larry and Sabrina met in their college business club, during their sophomore year at CWU, Fall quarter '15. Sabrina's friend invited her to attend an info night to learn more about the club, which Sabrina really wasn't interested in, but eventually she caved. They didn't talk much the first few weeks of knowing each other, but eventually Larry racked up the courage to invite Sabrina to his house party (...Sorry mom). The next day, he invited her to Winegar's to get to know her better. Sabrina talked for 4 hours straight (nothing unusual here). It was the start of something great. Over the following years, they shared countless unforgettable experiences. They traveled, camped, learned together, experienced health crisis, enjoyed some delicious drinks, crammed for exams, drank a lot of redbull, earned business degrees, lifeguarded, moved across the state, laughed and entered post-college life together. They both agree it's truly been some of the best years of their lives. Larry said he knew he wanted to date Sabrina from the first moment he saw her. Their close friendship quickly grew into a powerful love, they realized it had become impossible to determine when they decided to tell the world they were "going steady". One summer night (no one really remembers when), Larry finally popped the truly romantic question of "Are we dating or what?" which Sabrina replied "Sure, why not!" ...the rest is history!

Larry proposed on 2.28.2020 at Hanalei Bay, Kauai at sunset. Sabrina had been suspicious leading up to the trip, but wasn't sure exactly when it would happen. Larry's dad had made her even more suspicious 2 weeks before when he asked her at Costco "are you getting your nails done for the trip?" She was hyped. After just having the most delicious cold brew of her life, Larry walked her to the beach, got down on one knee and Sabrina asked "are you serious?" only a couple times. She said yes, and now we are here! Basically everyone says that this has been a long time coming, so we are thrilled to celebrate with everyone in Summer 2021! - #Labas2021 #TeamLabas
