If you've met John, you know he's a goofball with a never-ending inventory of puns and one-liners. If you haven't met him, you'll soon come to love him just as much as Kyler and Mizeya do! John has quite the knack to make any person feel heard while also providing sound advice in any given circumstance. Without fail, he will always find a way to liven up the function by sneaking in a dad joke or two....or twelve. John's been an amazing friend from the very early days of Kyler and Mizeya coming together, thanks to his amazing personality, and it was a no brainer to have him seal the deal for the bride and groom!
Ben Durrant
Best Man
Ben has been one of Kyler's best friends since he was 15 years old. The two have shared countless adventures together, worked alongside each other for Ky's Dad and at UPS, and even celebrated some of life's greatest accomplishments together. Kyler stood as the best man at Ben's wedding, and is a proud honorary uncle to Ben and his wife Sam's two sons, Liam and Andrew. Despite living 2 hours apart, they both still make time to hangout, catch up, and reminisce about the good old days over a glass of bourbon and a cigar.
Isabelle Yamin
Maid of Honor
The bride and groom initially met Belle and her boyfriend, Ben J, at Summer Camp in 2021. From there, Mizeya and Belle found many common interests, but the best of all? Mizeya finally found someone who can also be fashionably late to everything with her :) Belle is best known for her eclectic personality and can turn up a party like no other! She's got a real eye for style and a never ending supply of knowledge on EVERYTHING. Belle and Mizeya find themselves most happy when hearing an "oontz oontz" at the many shows they've attended together. Belle has made herself known to be a true ride or die :)
David Robinson
Best Man
David is Kyler's other longtime best friend. The two first met while working their first job at the local McDonald's when they were 16 and it didn't take long before they became inseparable. When not throwing random burger toppings onto the grill or singing John Lajoie songs at the ol' McD's, these two knuckleheads could often be found running lobbies in Call of Duty and eating an unhealthy amount of $5 Flatbread Boxes (RIP) from Taco Bell. Into their twenties, their friendship remained strong as they found new hobbies to share and friends to hang out with. Even adding some furry friends into the mix as well. David would eventually be one of the first people Ky introduced Mizeya to at the dog park where Kyler would later propose at. Fun Fact: Dave is the one who coined the couple's commonly used nickname, Kyzeya! There's also Mizyler, but we don't talk about that one...
Miranda Gonzalez
Bridesmaid
Sister of the bride, Miranda and Mizeya have a 9 year age gap between them. Due to this, Mizeya definitely ratted Miranda out more times than she can count. Now, they laugh at all the shared memories of their same, but also very different, upbringings. They have grown especially close after Miranda brought two beautiful kids into the world who Mizeya gets to call her niece and nephew. Now a days, you can find them trading off on house visits to make all sorts of food together. There's no one else Mizeya would love more to dance with to old school freestyle and bachata music :)
Elisia Gonzalez
Junior Bridesmaid
As the bride's niece, Elisia made Mizeya an aunt at the young age of 12 and with very similar personalities, they butted heads like sisters. It also doesn't help their birthdays are six days apart LOL. As she's grown, Elisia has become a very caring and artistic soul with enough fire in her to still make her a Chacon. She's a great older sister to her brother, Jessie, and a big lover of animals (Just like her Tia!!). Today, Mizeya and Lisi bond over their shared interests in different anime and now music too! Becoming an aunt has made Mizeya truly cherish the time spent introducing her niece and nephew to new things that come with getting older while also having them to thank for keeping her youthful and cool.
Dan Cunningham
Groomsman
Dan, or D2 as he’s referred to in the family, is Kyler's brother-in-law. Dan, Kyler, and their younger brothers, George and Sean, found common interests in a game called League of Legends where they spent far too many hours playing late into the night. Dan eventually asked Kyler to stand in his wedding when marrying his sister, Hannah, and Kyler was proud to do so. Thanks to Dan and Hannah, Ky is also now a proud uncle to his nephew, Brett, who's a real freaking cutie. Mizeya and Dan got along great being the additions to the Brett family and bonded most over kicking butt at the annual Brett Volleyball Tournament!
Hannah Cunningham
Bridesmaid
Hannah is the oldest of Kyler's two sisters and the second oldest of the Brett siblings. She's married to Dan Cunningham, one of Kyler's Groomsmen, and the mother of Ky's incredibly adorable (have we mentioned this enough?) nephew, Brett. Hannah has always been an incredibly supportive and loving sibling, friend, and now mom! There was a time Ky and Mizeya visited her and Dan when they were living in Tennessee, and it was that visit where Mizeya and Hannah really got to bond over books and pet parent stories! Hannah's soothing tone and contagious laugh is something that will be deeply appreciated come Kyler and Mizeya's big day :)
George Brett
Groomsman
George is the youngest of the Brett family, and Kyler’s one and only brother. Despite being nearly 10 years apart, Kyler and George grew up together playing sports in the back yard with friends, having airsoft wars, and now find themselves talking about things like investing, crypto, and entrepreneurial ventures. Growing up, Kyler and George both worked under their dad at their family landscaping business. Nowadays, you can find George soon to be the head honcho of Brett Landscaping! Feel free to hit him up for your landscaping needs!
Molly Brett
Bridesmaid
Molly is Kyler's youngest sister and third in line in the Brett Family. Her and Kyler have always shared their Dad's comedic nature and love for adventure. Whether cracking jokes at family gatherings or going to concerts together they've always added some fun to the mix. Her and Mizeya hit it off when they first met, finding common ground in reading, their music taste, and sense of humor. When they get time to hangout out they often like to go hammocking in the woods, lay out on the beach, or just have a cozy day in. Either way, Molly is always up for a good time :)
Ben Jasper
Yuna’s handler
He is King of the Castle, he has a chair, and his name is also Ben. This Ben is with Belle, Mizeya's maid of honor, and is a great friend to both Kyler and Mizeya. Ben went above and beyond helping with home repairs when Kyler and Mizeya bought their home in 2022. Many weekends have been spent together having game nights, going out, or building giant snow castles for the dogs. He's a great workout buddy while also being an agent of chaos. They can always count on him getting Yuna riled up into a howling fit upon every arrival. Time and time again, Ben has shown how amazing of a friend he truly is :)
Anthony Piazza
Faygo’s Handler
Anthony "Pizza" Piazza. He's the man responsible for introducing Kyler and Mizeya to Ben and Belle at Summer Camp in 2021 where they've been close friends ever since. He's been an incredible friend to both Kyler and Mizeya, and is often over for game nights, smash tourneys, or engaging in deep discussions that go on for hours. From his never ending knowledge of memes to his desire for the oontz oontz, Pizza is the guy always ready for a good time. He's especially made himself known in the Kyzeya household with his expertise in kitty bongos. He's always been caring and supportive, making it very easy to want him included in Kyler and Mizeya's big day! Furthermore, he's easily become Faygo's favorite hype man.
