Question
Is there a dress code?
Answer
We want you to be comfortable at our wedding! The dress code is Dressy Casual. For this time of year in Michigan, may we suggest the following attire: Women: sundresses, lightweight separates and flats or wedge heels. Men: light dress shirt with khaki or other lightweight slacks; jackets and ties optional. Please no jeans or athletic wear! Due to it being mid-September, we do advise bringing a light jacket for the evening! A bonfire will be available to cozy up to though :)

Indoor/Outdoor wedding?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be held outdoors in a wooded setting. The reception area will be covered under a large, clear top tent strung with lights that will illuminate the area as we party into the night. Please be sure to check the weather forecast to prepare accordingly!

What time should we arrive?
Answer
We will be kicking off our wedding with a cocktail hour beginning at 2pm. During this time we'll have appetizers available with an open bar.

Where is parking?
Answer
There is parking onsite along the street edge and down the driveway. Signage will be provided to guide ya right in! Please note though, parking is limited so do not hesitate to park at the hotel and take the shuttle over :)

Will there be lodging nearby?
Answer
We will have a hotel block at the Hampton Inn Mt. Pleasant for you to book rooms through. Please refer to your invite and the travel section for a prorated hotel booking. Shuttles will be provided both before the ceremony and after the reception.

Can I bring a plus one?
Answer
We kindly ask that you do not bring a plus one unless stated on your invitation or within your online RSVP.

Can I bring my kids?
Answer
Enjoy a kid-free night on us! We ask that you please keep the little ones at home for the evening so you can fully unwind and celebrate!

What's the Dinner/Bar status?
Answer
Dinner will be served buffet style with multiple options to choose from including vegetarian and gluten free options. Please be sure to mention any dietary restrictions when you RSVP so we can be sure to accommodate. As for the bar, it's open baby! Please drink responsibly and make your way to that dance floor!

Can I take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an unplugged ceremony, so we ask that all devices are on silent and put away. Don't worry, our photographer will be sure to get all the good shots!

If I take any photos during the wedding reception, how can I share them with you?
Answer
We would love to see all the photos taken during our big day! Please send them via text to either Kyler or Mizeya or feel free to use our hashtag #Kyzeyawedding for any social media posts so we can look back on them later! We are so grateful for your support and can't wait to celebrate with you all!
