Noah
Officiant
Noah and Zach met in the physics department at UNC and became very good friends over many cups of coffee and textbooks. We lived together for a year before COVID separated us just before graduation, but now Noah is continuing Zach's work at the lab they both now work at. Noah has helped us instrumentally with Azula's skin allergies and keeping her happy with chew toys.
Kyle
Attendant and Brother of the Bride
As an only child for so many years, I never thought I'd actually get a brother but I'm so glad I have one to bother now! Kyle studies applied math at CMU and enjoys video games. Zach and Kyle met during one of our trips to GJ and since then, Zach has become the favorite between the two of us, they share interests in math and video games as well as giving Kyra a hard time.
Brady
Groomsman
From roommates in the dorms, two more houses together, and now helping us with our special day, Brady has watched "over" us (about 9 inches above Kyra anyway) since the start. Brady lives in Denver now with his partner, Lydia, and they have a beautiful dog, Moses.
Sydney
Bridesmaid
Sydney and Kyra started dancing together when Sydney moved to GJ in 2015. Since then, Sydney and I have made a tutu, completed many art projects, and explored much of the state together. Sydney made the beautiful bouquet painting on your invitations and deserves credit for the hair and makeup for the event.
Conrad
Groomsman
Zach and Conrad met while studying physics at UNC. At first, they met through a mutual friend, then they quickly formed a bond. They eventually moved in together and become even better friends. He now lives in Cortez with his lovely wife Cassandre. Conrad and Kyra enjoy subjecting Zach to horror movies and the last movie we saw in theaters was "Us" which we all watched together against Zach's will.
Mia
Bridesmaid
Mia and Kyra sat together in 7th grade and have been inseparable since then. The 124 miles between Greeley and Colorado Springs tried but fortunately failed. We've been to several countries together, Mia and her dad taught Zach how to climb this past summer, and, as my adventure buddy for life, we look forward to many more adventures together.
Tyler
Groomsman
Zach met Tyler at orientation at UNC, they quickly became good friends after discovering they were both physics majors and shared many similar interests such as video games. They eventually moved in together and have been great friends for many 5 now. He now lives in Fort Collins with his sweet rescue dog Nerra.
Hannah
Bridesmaid and Sister of the Bride
As an only child for so many years, I didn't think I'd get a sister, but I'm glad I do now! Hannah and I met when Niki and Paul started dating and we enjoyed binge-watching Hannah Montana and Glee together. Now, Hannah also works at 2 local coffee shops, studies at CMU, and I look forward to having someone to bother for the rest of our natural lives.
Azula
Dog of Honor
Zach and Kyra adopted Azula in July of 2020, she's about 4 years old. She loves the car, long walks, hiking, and fancy treats that Noah brings her. Her favorite snack is cheese and she'll offer anyone chin-kisses if they pet her. She's excited about the move to Montana this fall since she'll get to go skiing more often and sniff a lot of new trees. She'll tell you she's a lapdog, but that's for you to decide. She regretfully informs you that she won't be at the wedding itself, but she'll be in town if you'd like to pay her a visit, some pets, and accept her chin-kisses.
