Things To Do
The Umpqua Valley offers beautiful rivers, a ton of great local wineries, and lots to explore!
If staying the weekend and looking for some adventure, here are some of our favorite attractions the area has to offer!
If craving nature, Hwy 138 takes you along the North Umpqua River towards Crater Lake and tons of waterfalls. Our favorites are Watson Falls, Toketee Falls, and Clear Water Falls. (note: there was a gnarly forest fire a few years ago, so it's still recovering for the first part of the drive)
Steamboat Inn is a great fancy restaurant in the woods, we do recommend!
Local wineries are a must and there are so many close by to the city! Our favorites are Girardet, Spire Mountain, Hillcrest, and Cooper Ridge has a great view!
Seven Feathers Casino and Wildlife Safari are a short drive.
As for food recommendations: Lighthouse Bakery, Old Soul Pizza, True, A Real Taste of India, Bagel Tree, Brix, Jersey Lilly, and McMenamins are all great!
