Question

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

While we will be providing beer and wine, you will be responsible for your own transportation in the event that you'd like to drink!

Question

Will the ceremony be taking place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors, so be mindful of wearing skinny heels! Bring your dancing shoes!

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Absolutely! However, be aware that there is a swimming pool at the venue and you’ll need to keep an extra close eye on your little ones. We want you to have the least amount of stress!

Can I take pictures and/or post photos of your wedding on social media?

Answer

Gentry and I would love for you to take as many pictures as you'd like during the reception, however, we have two very skilled professionals behind their cameras. We ask that you wait to post pictures to social media until we have publicly announced our union. We also ask that during the ceremony, your phones are tucked away (or out of the isle at least) so that you can be present on our day.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

While there is no dress code, we ask that you come dressed in bright colors!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to the capacity of our venue, we ask that you stick to your invitation. If your invitation says "and Guest," or lists your partners name, then of course! Otherwise, please come as you are!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! On the accommodations page, I have included all of the hotels that I would recommend. In Paintsville, options are very limited, so the Ramada Inn is the only place I recommend, but there are other options in Prestonsburg too.
