It specializes in quality art house, international, classic, and festival films, retaining old school touches like curtain opening, a cozy lobby with nostalgic concession, and a treasure trove of cinematic memorabilia. Shilo & Kyle love this theatre so much that they're both members!
Milo’s Craft Beer Emporium is a laid back gastropub celebrated for its impressive selection of Ontario craft beers in a friendly, casual setting. It has fantastic food with chef driven seasonal dishes, like their beloved house ground burger, rotating sausages, and smoked plates. After (very) extensive research, Shilo swears Milos' has the best burger in the city.
The Covent Garden Market is nestled right in the heart of downtown. This lively indoor market is packed with local vendors offering everything from fresh produce and gourmet snacks to international eats and handmade gifts. It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite, explore unique finds, and get a feel for the local vibe. Kyle used to frequent a bakery here so often, they thought he worked in the market and would give him a staff discount. Although that bakery no longer exists, his love for their cookies still lives on.
