Caroline and I met off of Craigslist when she moved into my old bedroom. We ended up being roommates for half a year while I continued to live there (in the dining room 😅) We have spent many an hour at dance parties, hosting potlucks, laying in the sun at the river, introverting in the whiskey room and smiling at Forest. She is a true artist with a heart of gold.

Kait and I met only a short while ago, at massage school. But spending 3 nights a week side by side learning and laughing brought us close quickly. She feels like a sister to me, and was the first person besides our birth staff to meet Forest. She is sweet natured but has been known to ask creepy men to leave, smiling all the while.

Stephanie and I have crossed paths starting many years ago, and each time it has been significant and poignant. Like the time we were in the same group relationship class or when I attended her theater group before we were friends. Or the time I had her dress up like a stomboli to go to the Stromboli festival that ended up being in NYC and we spent a long time in downtown richmond trying to find it. She is full of magic and joy that overflows.
