Kylie & Darren

BouquetBouquet

Wedding Party

Jihye

Maid of Honor

Hiya everyone! My name is Jihye, and I have the great pleasure of being Kylie's maid of honor as Kylie and Dewey embark on their wedding journey! Kylie and I met in the first few weeks of college when we pledged the same sorority and became ~zisters~ (later soul sisters). Throughout years, we ventured through some of the hard things: living with weirdo roommates (real talk, we lived with a witch one semester!), sorority drama, and stupid boy problems. We also ventured through lots of happy things: so many girls nights eating funfetti cupcakes and watching Pitch Perfect, Outback dinners, countless brunches and happy hours, Taylor Swift's Reputation Stadium Tour, and getting to witness each other finding our soulmates. Over the past decade, our friendship has aged like cheese - it's gouda.

Anthony

Groomsman

Darren and I met in high school math class back in 2010 where we quickly became friends as we battled for class clown (I won). From there we continued our friendship into that summer, where hanging out at Darren's parent's house became the norm. We stayed friends and kept in touch all the way until he shipped out of Warner Robins to become a Marine. Despite the hundreds of miles that were now between us, we continued contact and had frequent "check ins". Fast forward 7 years from the time we met and I asked Darren to be the Best Man in my wedding, he accepted, and I couldn't have asked for a better Best Man. I look forward to being a part of Darren and Kylie's wedding and pray God brings them eternal happiness.

Samantha

Bridesmaid

Once hired at MSE, a friend connected me with Kylie as I prepared to move to DC - that's when our friendship began. As roomies, I learned her adorable quirks such as her love of Outback, The Office, and naming dogs. We experienced wild times together including beach trips, weekend shenanigans, and our infamous house parties. It was at our tiki party when I was introduced to our beloved Dewey. With his Jeep full of Marines, I quickly learned what a kind-hearted, goofy man he was - a perfect match for my angel, Kylie. For five years, Kylie has stood by me with unconditional love and friendship and I’ve come to love Dewey like a brother. I am honored to celebrate the marriage of this beautiful couple and wish them all the happiness - complete with a yard for their future pup, Otis. Cheers!

Tyler

Groomsman

Darren and I have known each other for about 8 years now. We met in high school during gym class where we showed everyone how to ball. Darren is one of my closest friends and you can usually find us at a Macon Mayhem game or sippin on a cold one by the pool.

Julie

Bridesmaid

Kylie and Julie met as Freshmen in College at GMU - Kylie lived in the building in front of Julie's and had to escape her Freshman roommate, so she spent a lot of time with the gals of Lincoln's 3rd Floor. Kylie and Julie bonded over their love of dogs, Hockey (though not the same team) and their passion for their major - Tourism & Event Management. Julie and Kylie lived together their Senior year of college, where they shared bad "Dad Jokes", and dabbled in gourmet foods, such as Dino Nugs and boxed Mac and Cheese. Though they now live 1,600 miles apart, Julie is so excited to stand by her best friend while she marries her perfect match!

Tanner

Groomsman

Well Darren and I met when we were both in the Marine Corps stationed in DC. He lived next door to me in the barracks for a solid 3 months before I ever hung out with him or knew who he was. One day we started talking about hunting or fishing and before you know it we were going hunting or fishing with each other every chance we got. Everybody considered us dating, even our girlfriends at the time (now my wife and his fiancee Kylie). He's my go to man with just about anything and I love that guy like a brother. I'm honored to have been asked to stand up there with him on their big day. So happy for yall and I love you guys and can't wait!

Isa

Bridesmaid

Kylie and I weren't always happy about our boyfriends getting into trouble all the time but it was all worth it because it brought Kylie and I together. Sometimes it is hard to believe I wouldn't have met her if it weren't for Darren and Tanner's friendship and I am so thankful for that. Kylie stood by my side on my wedding day and I can't wait to do the same for her! I am beyond excited for two of my best friends and two people I consider family. I love you both and can't wait for this next chapter!

Patrick

Groomsman

Patrick and Darren met over the summer of 2017 when they became lunch buddies at the police academy. They began bonding over going to sports games and talking about how much they loved their girlfriends. They eventually made a spontaneous 5 am trip to Las Vegas to watch the Capitals win the Stanley Cup in 2018.

Elizabeth

Bridesmaid

Kylie! When I sit back and think about how our friendship started there’s a lot of food, embarrassing photos and wall twerking involved. Meeting you my freshman year of college was such a blessing - you provided an ear for listening, endless laughs and a shoulder to cry on. You gave me mentorship and advice whenever I needed it most and it helped to shape me today. I love your willingness for an adventure whether it be hiking 26 miles in a day together or hoping on a plane after I drunkly book a trip to see Julie in Colorado. I am beyond excited to watch this next chapter of your life unfold and be a part of your big day!

Phil

Groomsman

Darren and I first met back in the Marine Corps through Chesty the Marine Corps Mascot, but we didn’t really start hanging out until we were both hired by the same department after the Marine Corps. I got hired last minute and luckily Darren was kind enough to let me rent a room from him, even though that room was his dining room. Darren and I lived together for close to two months which was interesting say the least. Even though the first things out of our mouths in the morning were typically “offensive” that’s when we started becoming good friends. Darren and I have since then been co-workers.

Amy

Bridesmaid

As cliche as it sounds, I knew I found a lifelong friend in Kylie. She has always been someone that I knew I could count on to be there when I needed brutal honesty, a good laugh until I cried, or a sounding board when I needed advice. As I reflect on the years of memories we have shared including weekend trips to the beach, crazy house parties, and many lunch breaks catching up during a busy work week I know I am lucky to have a friend like her. As Kylie embarks on her next journey in life, I could not be more excited to share in all of the special moments to come!

Andrew

Groomsman

Darren and I met in middle school when he moved to Warner Robins. He lived around the corner and one time while at his house his dog bit me....the rest is history.

Grace

Bridesmaid

Kylie and I met three years ago when I started working at Monumental. We bonded over our love of the Caps and our great taste in 90s/00s hits. Kylie is frequently my voice of reason and sounding board. She is the truest friend and I would be lost without her. I also have a great friendship with the one & only Darren "Dewey" White. The shared last name was a quick sell but he is truly one of the family, no one is more loyal or hilarious. He is never afraid to call me out or text my dad to tell on me when I embarrass us. From front stage at the Stanley Cup Parade Rally to enjoying one of Darren's public dance performances, we never fail to have a great time! These two amazing people complement each other perfectly. I'm so blessed and thrilled to celebrate this special time with you both.

Maria

Groomswoman

ABOUT TIME. Darren, you’ve got a dime piece on your arm but never forget where you came from. (Middle school mascot 4ever). Kylie, I love you so much my princess! Eternally grateful for your friendship and your impressive amount of tolerance for Darren. All jokes aside, y’all are such a beautiful couple and make one powerhouse team. Thank you for choosing me to share THE day with you both.

Emily

Bridesmaid

Kylie and I met freshman year of college after both becoming members of Zeta. We bonded over our love of corny jokes, Jim Carrey, overall awkwardness, and Star Trek (just kidding). We became roommates after graduating and somehow ended up in Rockville which turned out to be fun/weird, we regained sense and moved back to VA. Living with Kylie, I was lucky enough to enjoy her A+ baking skills and witty humor!

Lesley

Groomswoman

Hi! I am Lesley and I get the privilege of being groomswoman for my BFF Darren Kirby White. I am a Physical Therapist (starting May 2020!!) and have been in school longer than Darren and Kylie have been together - forever, am I right??? Darren and I met over 10 years ago through mutual friends and we have been the best of friends since day 1. He has always been like the brother I never had and literally there has never been a dull moment with the two of us. I could have not picked a better girl for him than Kylie...and I can't wait to be a part of this special day, lets get them married!

Brandon

Officiant

Hey, y’all! It’s Carlson…..Brandon Carlson. Darren and I met in 2008 in eighth grade at Warner Robins Middle School in Warner Robins, Georgia. The first time we exchanged words was on the baseball field during baseball tryouts. Then we both went to Houston County High School where we played football (I did not play near as long as him, lol). After graduation, we became closer despite him joining the Marine Corps and moving a few states away. I have always told people that I have one friend that I know for a fact would do anything for me, and that friend is Darren. Through my cancer diagnosis and unfortunate issues with the ladies, Darren as always been a true brother. I am proud of you, buddy, and ecstatic to be a part of this special day.

Skyler Leigh

Flower Girl

Hi I'm Skyler! I'm 6 years old, in first grade, and live in North Carolina. I love my mom, dad, family and playing with my best friend Lauren "like" all the time. She lives in my neighborhood. I also really like sharks. My favorite shark is the bull shark. I can't wait for my cousin, Darren and Kylie's wedding. I will maybe wear high-heels if my mom lets me and earrings and a bracelet.
