Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you appreciate that children are only invited if named. Your invitation will say "and family" if your children have been invited.

Question

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us. We are requesting that guests wear semi-formal or cocktail attire. No jeans or shorts please.

Question

WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THE CEREMONY?

Answer

The ceremony will be a shortened Catholic Mass, thoughtfully crafted to honor tradition while keeping things light, joyful, and just the right length—about 30 minutes.

Question

IS THE CEREMONY/RECEPTION INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors, so no need to worry about the weather!

Question

CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS DURING THE CEREMONY?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to refrain from taking photos during the ceremony so everyone can be fully present. Don’t worry our photographer will capture every moment!

Question

IS THERE PARKING AT THE UNIVERSITY CLUB?

Answer

Parking is available behind the venue (back entrance), along with street parking in front of and around the venue. There is also the Midtown Ramp Parking garage (attached to the Axis Hotel), with the ground floor free parking, and the 2nd/3rd floor available for hotel guests). Additionally, there is a free lot in the alley behind Bent River Brewing.

Question

WILL TRANSPORTATION BE PROVIDED?

Answer

Because the venue is centrally located, no formal transportation is required. However, for out-of-town guests, we recommend using rideshare services or walking from your hotel.

Question

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

Answer

Think Midwest summer at its finest! July in Moline is warm, sunny, and bright — perfect for a wedding weekend. Expect daytime temps in the low-to-mid 80s with plenty of sunshine and a warm summer breeze. Evenings settle into the comfortable 60s, ideal for a short stroll back to the hotel after a night of dancing! Humidity is definitely part of the season (hello, summer glow!), and there’s always a chance of a quick pop-up shower, but nothing that usually sticks around for long.
