Every great love story has a spark. Todd and Kylie’s just happened to come with fireworks… and a slightly suspicious number of kickballs landing deep in the woods. They first met at a Fourth of July party hosted by their friends Tony and Sabrina, where yard games quickly turned into a full-blown, slightly chaotic kickball game. On opposing teams, Todd discovered a very convenient strategy: repeatedly kicking the ball as far as humanly possible… directly into the woods. And who ended up retrieving it almost every single time? Kylie. To say she was annoyed would be fair. To say she stayed annoyed… not exactly. Because somewhere between the repeated trips into the trees and Todd’s unapologetic grin, his charm started to win her over. Life went on, as it does, but a few years later they reconnected, and this time, things just clicked. From that point on, the rest really was history. For their first official date, Todd took Kylie to a golf simulator- an activity he may have chosen with a bit of confidence. But in a surprising move, Kylie ended up winning. Luckily for Todd, she was gracious about it… mostly. Today, their relationship is filled with laughter, a little playful rivalry, and plenty of shared memories. Todd still keeps a giant scoreboard in their basement- a testament to their many games and moments together- though Kylie’s lead is, reportedly, quite secure. At the heart of it all, their story isn’t really about who wins or loses. It’s about finding someone who can make you laugh, keep things fun, and turn even a simple game of kickball into the beginning of something unforgettable.
