Shenandoah National Park
Our favorite place to take a hike! Our favorite trails are Hawksbill, Stony Man, and South River Falls. Limberlost is an especially great trail if you prefer a nice flat stroll. Check out the Big Meadows shop while you’re there!
Early Mountain Vineyards
** Our favorite winery of all time!! ** The best of the best! Fantastic wine and phenomenal food (the chef comes from a Michelin Star restaurant and it shows). The views are stunning and there is usually live music too. Skyler has said it is his favorite restaurant in the US - don't skip it! Reservations recommended.
Maybelle's On Main
The best (and only) coffee shop in Stanardsville! Stop in for coffee or grab a quick bite to eat. Their lattes and sandwiches are delicious!

Downtown Charlottesville
Explore beautiful Downtown Charlottesville (where Skyler and I met!) and enjoy the many shops at the Charlottesville Mall pedestrian plaza. It’s a 30 minute drive from Lydia Mountain. Be sure to stop by our favorite dumpling shop - Marco & Luca Dumplings.
