Wedding Party

We are so grateful for the wonderful people who have agreed to stand by our sides on our special day!

Helen Cannon

Officiant

Hel was my first friend when I moved to Nashville and transferred schools my junior year of high school. On the first day of volleyball practice with my new team, Helen asked if I wanted to be her pepper partner, and we have been best friends ever since! From high school, to college, to life in our 20s, we have made far too many memories and have far too many stories to recount here. But maybe you’ll hear some of them in her officiant speech ;) She has always been the friend that says yes to any of my crazy ideas and let's me pull her out of an introvert night in. From dying our hair purple together when we were 16 to being in our bridal era together at 29 there was no one else I could imagine officiating my wedding.

Austen Randolph

Matron of Honor

Austen and I technically met back in high school, but our friendship really flourished in college when she and Adam (her now husband) invited me into their friend group. We spent our college years laughing and embarking on some wild adventures including one where she somehow talked me into spelunking into a cave underneath the Cookeville Walmart, and one where we took a road trip out to Colorado that didn’t go according to plan… but resulted in us seeing a concert at red rocks for the first time (pictured here)! She is the "cool mom" friend, and always prepared for any and everything you may need. I can depend on her for anything!

Krissy Scruggs

Bridesmaid

Krissy is my built in best friend and favorite travel buddy!!! (Sorry kyle ;) From letting me spend a whole summer living on her couch in Nashville, to visiting her in the cities she travels to each year, we have made the best memories in our adult years seeing new sights together. Our favorite ways to spend time together usually include ordering too much food and splitting it all so we can both try a little bit of everything!

Alex Young

Bridesmaid

As my self-appointed “second mom”, my best memories of Alex from childhood are when she would scare me by showing me Ursula (my biggest fear) or make me sad by telling me she was adopted (she’s not). As we got older and she got nicer, she became such a great source of support, encouragement, and advice! Her and Jerry have also brightened our lives and made them muuuuuch more busy by giving us my nephews and niece: Nolan, Theo, and Landry.

Adaline Smith

Bridesmaid

It was the summer of 2018, and Adaline and I both made our way to a summer internship in Nashville. We were instant friends and spent that entire summer watching so much Big Brother, taking a spontaneous trip to Disney World, and eating lots and lots of Taco Bell. We were truly inseparable and have been (virtually) just as inseparable ever since! For the past 8 years, there have not been many morning commutes that I haven't been either listening to or responding to a Marco Polo from Adaline detailing all of the intricate details of our daily life.

Erik Barnes

Bridesman

Erik is my 2nd favorite thing I’ve ever found online! We both said yes to playing in a random online version of Survivor back in 2021 with absolutely no idea how our life was going to change. After the game ended, we became instant best friends and have made so many memories over the last 5 years visiting each other and taking fun trips together! To this day, one of my favorite memories is still the night we met in person for the first time. Helen and Austen thought I was insane for meeting up with a random guy I met online! After a night out in NYC with Erik and Brett (his partner) and many martinis later, they were in full support of our friendship and learned meeting up with strangers isn't always bad!

Scarlett Rowe

Bridesmaid

From high school sleepovers to road trips with no plan, Scar and I have made so many memories filled with gigs and yaps. In high school she took me under her wing as the “new girl” and let me nap at her house whenever I was tired before volleyball games. She brightens every room she walks in and has the best laugh in the biz!

Claire Mote

Bridesmaid

Claire and I were the new girlies in high school together and became friends in “new kid orientation”. Then, when we both graduated college and it was time for me to move back to Nashville for work, we got to live our little dream of being roomies in our 20s together!! She had a front row seat to the beginning of my relationship with Kyle, and was always supportive of me having Zoom dates in the living room with this random guy from California :)

Ryan Durrett

Best Man

"The Artist" I've known Ryan for, well, my whole life. Or I should say, for his whole life. Ryan is holding down the fort in California for the Durrett Bros. now that I'm gone, using his passion and artistic skills to inspire others. After the many hours we have spent battling in video games and the many, many hours spent making silly voices, who else could be the best man?

Brenden Volker

Groomsman

"The Captain" Brenden and I officially became friends day one of high school, when neither of us really knew anyone else in our homeroom. If you need someone to rally the troops and make sure everyone feels included, Brenden's your guy. Intense Nerf wars, marathon Black Ops 2 zombies rounds, spontaneous midnight trips- Brenden is there for all of it. Not to mention being one of the smartest people I know, and being the king of the Homie Shake.

Henry Powell

Groomsman

"The Counselor" Henry and I never interacted until we were sat next to each other in 3rd grade and he asked me if I watched "Chowder". You can talk to Henry about anything. Or at least, Henry will listen to anything you have to say. Anyone who wants a chill hang, a confidante, literally anything you need, Henry is there for it. He'll also come in and give you the biggest laugh you've had all week.

Ian Moorhead

Groomsman

"The Survivor" I met Ian during quarantine through an online Survivor group, as one does. But we had more in common than that. Music, sports, trivia- you name it. We knew each other for almost 2 years before we met in person, but it felt like we knew each other forever. We even started our own group called 2 Man Band. Ian loves deeply, checks in, and shows up for you when you need him.

Liam Murphy

Groomsman

"The Anchor" I met Liam before I can even remember, he's a true Day Oner. He's put up with a lot of antics from me and the rest of the group over years, but he's always there to keep everyone grounded and together- the definition of reliable. And is the word "genius" too strong? Not if you know him. He's also the only friend I've ever convinced to watch Survivor, which I consider a personal accomplishment.

Max Zoglio

Groomsman

"The Catalyst" Max is another friend who I met before I can even remember, and hanging out with him always feels like home. Max is always down for an adventure. He's always the first one on board, and any gathering is incomplete without him. He's never afraid to try something new, and never afraid to go big. He's one of the most chill people you'll ever meet, and also someone who you'll have the best memories with.

Tyler Mar

Groomsman

"The Renaissance Man" There were many names I could've given Tyler- The Scholar, The Wildcard, The Athlete. So why not give him a name that captures it all. Tyler and I met in middle school drama, but really became close at high school swim practice (where he was the star). You need some tips on fishing? Tyler can help. Need advice on investments? He's got you. Need an absolute gut-busting laugh? There's nothing he can't do.
