Maid of Honor
Our friendship has spanned two decades and many many miles. Moving around as much as I did, it was hard to hold onto friendships over such long distances, but not with Mayra. We went from passing notes in middle school to writing letters overseas. Yes, we are that old and unfortunately we both still have those embarrassing letters! In college were once again in the same city and became roommates. Our twenties were filled with fun, laughter, tears, trials, and adventures. I know that wherever we are in our lives, no matter what, we will always be there for each other. Ready for the next adventure.
Best Man
Most of you know him as Eric, but I know him as my big brother Rico. He is the best brother and role model I could have asked for while growing up in a small town. I learned the manners and kindness of a southern gentleman while being the classically rowdy, country boy. Our age gap is about 10 years so I was old enough to see the kind of trouble he was getting into and young enough to think the trouble was fun. On some occasions I was crazy enough to duplicate that same trouble in my teenage years because watching Rico, I saw how to have fun in a small Texas town. Later as we got older, I started learning from him how to be a good husband and father. I am very proud of my big brother and am still taking notes from him today.
