Hike Chautauqua Park
Our first hike after moving to Denver. If you want iconic views without committing to a full mountain day, Chautauqua Park offers stunning Flatiron scenery and trails for all levels
Peruse Boulder's Farmers Market
A Saturday-morning favorite of ours featuring local food vendors, fresh produce, coffee, baked goods, and live music. A great stop for brunch, snacks, and people-watching if you’re in town early. This is held from 8a-2p every Saturday!
Tour University of Colorado - Boulder
Take a walk around CU Boulder’s beautiful campus, especially around Folsom Field and the surrounding paths with views of the Flatirons.
Check Out Golden, CO
A charming mountain town about 30 minutes from Boulder with great shops, restaurants, and a scenic walk along Clear Creek. Perfect for a relaxed afternoon stroll or lunch at The Golden Mill with views.
Visit Coors Brewery Tour
Located in nearby Golden, the Coors Brewery offers guided tours of one of the largest breweries in the world. Guests can learn about the brewing process, explore the historic facility, and enjoy samples throughout the tour (4 beers!). Tours are 21+ only and require advance registration—typically about one month in advance—and they book up quickly, so we recommend planning early.
Hang out at Lyons, CO
A laid-back mountain town just north of Boulder known for its scenic rivers, local shops, breweries, and strong music culture. Lyons is also where our wedding venue is located and is about 20 minutes from Boulder, making it an easy and scenic drive.
Stop By Nederland, CO
A quirky mountain town about 30 minutes from Boulder with coffee shops, local restaurants, thrift stores, and mountain-town charm. Great for cooler temperatures, scenic views, and a low-key adventure between wedding events.
South Pearl Street Farmers’ Market
One of our favorite farmers markets to go to!! This one is held Sunday mornings, and is held a bit more in central Denver. It’s held from 9a-1p, so a great morning activity before the wedding! If you go, make sure to stop at Tart & Soul, our favorite vendor who sells homemade pop tarts!!
