The island is a big tourist destination in the summer and hotels and lodging get booked far in advance. Please plan accordingly and book as ahead of time as possible!

Getting to the island

There is a ferry that takes you from Anacortes to San Juan Island. Reservations are required if you are driving on the ferry. Walking on is cheaper and requires no reservation.

There is shuttle that will take you from SeaTac to the ferry landing. Reservations are required and can be done online.

This shuttle service will pick you up from the SEATAC airport and take you on to the ferry and drop you off downtown Friday Harbor.
