Question

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be held at the stunning Villa Grabau in Lucca, Italy. Pre- and post-wedding events will take place at L’Arancera, a nearby villa where the couple and several guests will be staying.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family, and due to the intimate nature of our venue and the amount of group programming throughout the week, we’ve had to keep our guest list very limited. If your invitation includes a plus-one, they are absolutely welcome—but if not, we kindly ask that you attend solo. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to share this special time with you!

Question

Will there be transportation provided? Will there be transportation provided?

Answer

Yes! We’ll provide group transportation to and from Lucca city center for all events at L’Arancera and Villa Grabau. See the travel section for more details!

Question

What should I wear?What should I wear?

Answer

Dress comfortably and stylishly for the Tuscan summer! The wedding will be an outdoor garden celebration—think elevated summer formal. We’ll share more outfit ideas closer to the event.

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding? Can I bring my children to the wedding?

Answer

We love your little ones — truly! While we adore all of your families, we’ve decided to make our wedding weekend an adults-only celebration (with the exception of a few immediate family members). This gives everyone a chance to relax, enjoy the Tuscan views, sip a little wine, and dance the night away! We so appreciate your understanding and hope this feels like a mini-vacation for you, too!

Question

How will I know if I am staying at the villa? How will I know if I am staying at the villa?

Answer

A limited number of guests will be staying on-site at the villa. If you did not receive a separate “villa stay” invitation, we kindly ask that you book your own accommodations in Lucca. The town is full of beautiful hotels, B&Bs, and apartments just a short drive away. For suggestions, please see our Travel page. Also note, we will have programming daily for everyone to attend with transportation.
